Method
- Whisk the chocolate pudding mix with milk in a bowl until well combined and smooth, about 2 minutes. Let it sit to firm up for 5 minutes.
- Spoon the pudding evenly into each serving cup, filling about three-quarters full.
- Crumble the chocolate cookies finely and sprinkle a layer on top of the pudding in each cup to resemble dirt.
- Arrange small pieces of marshmallow cut into bones or shapes on top of the cookie dirt to mimic skeletal remains.
- Melt the dark chocolate along with heavy cream in short bursts in the microwave, stirring after each, until smooth and glossy.
- Pour the melted chocolate into a piping bag or plastic sandwich bag, snip the tip, and pipe web-like patterns over the pudding cups for a spooky web effect.
- Chill the assembled pudding cups in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to set the webs and allow flavors to meld.
Notes
For more realistic webs, you can use a toothpick to drag the melted chocolate into web patterns after piping. Feel free to add candy eyes or other decorations for extra spookiness.
