- Add the cherries, lime juice, ice cubes, and honey to the blender.
- Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30-45 seconds. The ice should be finely crushed, and the drink should be bright red with a frosty appearance.
- Stop the blender and check the consistency; if it’s too thick, you can add a splash of water or lime juice and blend briefly to loosen it. It should hold a thick, scoopable texture.
- Pour the cherry lime slushie into glasses, using a spoon to help transfer if necessary. The vibrant red color and icy texture should be immediately visible.
- Garnish with fresh cherries or a lime wedge if desired for presentation. Serve immediately while icy and refreshing.
Notes
For a smoother texture, you can strain out some of the cherry skins before blending. Adjust sweetness with honey or syrup as needed.
